Steve has over sixteen years in the chemical industry, previously as Discovery Platform Director for Unilever Research, Courtaulds and Cookson. He is currently a Professor at the Department of Chemistry, University of Liverpool and is a co-inventor of the technology. Steve has in excess of 60 scientific publications to his name and is co-inventor on more than fifty patent filings.
